Albion InfoTel awarded Best Cloud Service Provider for the year 2011
The Albion Infotel Pvt. Ltd. was awarded the Best Cloud Service Provider for the year 2011 by the Compuer Reseller News – a renowned magazine and TV channel on computer’s in their glittering summit for Excellence Awards 2011 on August 18-20th, 2011 at Leonia Holistic Resort, Hyderabad. The award was received by CEO of the company Sh. Sanjeev Gupta in the presence of over 100 CXOs from leading IT solution providers, System Integrators, Enterprise VARs and vendor companies.
In his interaction with the media Sanjeev Gupta stated that “The Cloud computing is the next generation technology which will help MSMEs to reduce their cost of IT infrastructure substantially and help move on to opex model which will release a lot of capex funds to be utilised gainfully else where within the business operation. The Albion InfoTel has launched its Cloud solutions and services with hosting servers and applications on its Tier IV data center. Albion is providing SaaS (Software as a Service) and IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) solutions. Under SaaS we offer services like Albion CRM and Albion Messaging and under IaaS, we offer solutions like Hosted Contact Center, Managed Hosting, Virtual Private Server etc.
The main attraction of the summit was award of the CRN Excellence Award 2011 which recognised best performing channel companies in 13 award categories on 19th August. The sole purpose of the awards is to recognise companies and individuals in the IT channels who excelled in their business by adopting best practices and applying sound business accumen, and to thus create role models that inspire a whole new generation of business leaders, said Mr. Dhaval Walia, Associate Publisher and Executive Editor of CRN . The top notch of IBM, HP, VM Ware, Cisco, EMC, Ernst and Young, Schneider Electric attended the summit.
Albion bagged the Channel World Award for second consecutive time.

Mr. Sanjeev Gupta, Managing Director, received the award from Mr. Vijay Ramachandran, Editor-in-Chief, IDG Media at the awards ceremony held at Hotel The Westin, Pune on 6th May 2011.
